Skills and Experience Sought:

• Experience as a paraprofessional or similar role supporting students in a school environment
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and students
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic classroom environment
• Patience, enthusiasm, and a passion for helping students succeed
• Familiarity with classroom management and instructional support techniques preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications or relevant coursework a plus

What You'll Do:

• Assist teachers with classroom activities and provide support for individual or small groups of students
• Help implement lesson plans and support students with assignments and classroom tasks
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and encouraging learning atmosphere
• Support students with special needs, following individualized education plans when necessary
• Supervise students in various settings, including classrooms, hallways, and during non-instructional activities
• Monitor student progress and report observations to teaching staff
• Contribute to the daily operations of the classroom by helping with materials, organization, and cleanup
