Key Qualifications:
- Valid Illinois Paraprofessional License (IL Parapro)
- Professional Educator License (PEL)
- Experience or passion for working with K-12 students
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to collaborate effectively with instructional teams
- Adaptable and proactive in addressing classroom needs
Role Responsibilities:
- Assist certified teachers in delivering engaging lessons and activities across multiple grade levels
- Provide individualized and group support to students, ensuring their educational and behavioral goals are reinforced
- Implement instructional strategies and modifications as directed by teaching staff
- Foster a safe, respectful environment for all students
- Help with classroom organization, materials preparation, and supervision during transitions or activities
- Communicate regularly with teachers regarding student progress, needs, and achievements
