Job Description

Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

  • Previous experience as a paraprofessional or in a similar school-based role

  • Familiarity with classroom management techniques
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or relevant certifications are a plus

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist lead teachers in daily lesson activities, offering support to students individually and in small groups
  • Help implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior strategies under teacher guidance
  • Foster a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment
  • Supervise students in classrooms, hallways, and common areas as needed
  • Support students with personal care and mobility when necessary
  • Document student progress and communicate observations to teaching staff
