Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Experience working as a paraprofessional or in a similar school-based support role
  • Ability to engage, motivate, and assist students across K-12 grade levels
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Patience, flexibility, and reliability in diverse classroom settings
  • Understanding of basic classroom management techniques
  • High school diploma or equivalent (relevant certifications are a plus)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct support to classroom teachers and students, individually or in small groups
  • Assist with instructional activities, reinforcing lessons and supporting student learning
  • Help maintain a safe, organized, and inclusive classroom environment
  • Support students with diverse needs, promoting engagement and positive behavior
