Job Description

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Active Ed Tech Certification required
  • Previous experience as a paraprofessional or working in schoolsespecially in K-12 settingspreferred
  • Ability to support students with a variety of learning and behavioral needs
  • Skilled in following teacher direction and implementing individualized plans
  • Comfortable working collaboratively with teachers and special education staff
  • Strong organizational skills and a proactive work ethic

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist classroom teachers with instructional activities and student supervision
  • Support students individually or in small groups to reinforce learning objectives
  • Foster an inclusive, respectful classroom atmosphere
  • Monitor student progress and communicate observations to teaching staff
  • Assist with classroom management and help maintain a safe, structured environment
  • Provide support with classroom materials, adaptations, and daily routines as needed
