Sunbelt Staffing is actively hiring 9 Highly Qualified Elementary Paraprofessionals for school-based positions near Coon Rapids and Blaine, Minnesota. These opportunities offer a chance to support elementary students in a collaborative educational environment while gaining valuable school-based experience. Position Details:
Position: Highly Qualified Elementary Paraprofessional
Location: Elementary schools near Coon Rapids and Blaine, MN
Number of Openings: 9
Start Date: ASAP
Schedule: Monday-Friday
Hours: 32.5 hours per week
Contract End Date: November 29, 2026
Setting: Elementary Schools
Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire
Important Hiring Requirements
Candidates must be considered Highly Qualified through one of the following methods before being presented:
Option 1
Pass the Minnesota Board Highly Qualified Paraprofessional Exam (Minnesota Para Educator Exam)
Option 2
Possess a minimum of 60 college credits
College transcripts must be provided at submission
Degree photos or diploma images alone will not satisfy this requirement
Important: Candidates cannot be considered without verification of one of the qualifications listed above.

Responsibilities:
Support students in academic, behavioral, and social-emotional development
Assist classroom teachers with instructional activities
Provide one-on-one and small-group student support
Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment
Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and school staff
Assist with classroom management and daily routines
Qualifications:
Must meet Minnesota Highly Qualified Paraprofessional requirements
Experience working with children preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively within a team environment
