Job Description

Enjoy consistent weekly hours supporting students across a variety of classroom settings, including both resource and center-based environments.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a paraprofessional within a school environment
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must fulfill one of these pathways:
    • Completion of at least two years of college credits (typically 60 semester credits) from an accredited institution
    • Associate degree or higher
    • Passing score on an approved assessment (ParaPro Assessment: minimum 455; ParaEducator: at least 65% in Instructional Support and 70% in Knowledge and Application)
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with educators and students
  • Adaptability and enthusiasm for supporting student success in diverse classroom settings

Role Overview:

  • Work closely with assigned classroom teachers to offer instructional and behavioral support to students
  • Assist in implementing individualized education plans and classroom strategies
  • Participate in both resource and center-based settings, depending on assignment
  • Maintain a safe, positive, and inclusive environment
  • Support students learning, independence, and social development
  • Carry out routine classroom tasks, including documentation as needed
