Key Qualifications & Experience:

  • Experience as a paraprofessional or instructional aide in a school setting preferred
  • Ability to support students with varying needs in both individual and group settings
  • Either 60+ college credits OR para certification (can start with certification pending if offer is made)
  • Strong communication skills and a patient, flexible mindset
  • Enthusiasm for fostering a positive, inclusive classroom environment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide instructional and behavioral support to students under the guidance of certified teachers
  • Assist with classroom management and the implementation of lesson plans
  • Support students with special needs, adapting to diverse learning requirements
  • Promote engagement, inclusion, and a supportive classroom community
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and other paraprofessionals
