Job Description

This contract position offers immediate openings in several highly regarded elementary schools, providing a supportive environment where youll work side by side with educators and specialized teams.

In this role, youll play a vital part in assisting students with diverse learning needs, helping to foster a positive and inclusive classroom setting. Specify the school location youre most interested in when applying, as each site has unique openings and dedicated hiring teams.

Key Qualifications:

  • Must meet one of the following Highly Qualified criteria:
    • Successful completion of the MN Board Highly Qualified Para Exam (Paraprofessional or Para Educator Exam)
    • At least 60 college credits (official transcripts required)
  • Previous experience in a school or special education setting is valued
  • Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with staff and students
  • Commitment to professionalism and dependability

Core Responsibilities:

  • Support classroom instruction and individual student learning in an elementary school environment
  • Assist teachers with instructional and non-instructional tasks
  • Provide one-on-one or small group support to students as directed
  • Help maintain an organized, safe, and encouraging classroom atmosphere
  • Adapt to the unique needs of each school site and team

Additional Details & Perks:

  • Opportunities available at various elementary schools with specialized and general caseloads
  • Contract for 32.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday
  • Begin as soon as possible, with the potential for direct hire after 422 contracted hours
  • Pay rate is $20 per hour
