Make a real impact supporting young learners as part of an early childhood education program tailored for children ages 2 to 3. This contract opportunity runs from September 8th, 2026, to December 7th, 2026, with a weekday schedule from 8:00 am to 2:30 pm. You will work in a center-based environment, assisting teachers and specialists in nurturing growth, encouraging participation, and helping students develop key skills during a critical stage of development.

Qualifications:

• Must be deemed highly qualified by meeting one of the following:
  • Pass the Minnesota Para Educator (Parapro) Exam (submit proof of passing score)
  • Hold a minimum of 60 college credits (submit official transcripts; degree or diploma alone does not qualify)
• Resume and highly qualified documentation required for considerationsubmissions missing either cannot be presented
• Genuine passion for working with early childhood populations
• Previous paraprofessional or classroom support experience strongly preferred

Responsibilities:

• Support the classroom teacher in daily routines, activities, and lessons for toddlers in a center-based program
• Assist students individually and in small groups, helping meet developmental and educational goals
• Ensure a safe and welcoming learning environment at all times
• Foster independence, socialization, and communication skills
• Document observations and assist with daily record-keeping as needed
• Collaborate with specialists and educational staff for best student outcomes
