Key Qualifications:
- Must meet the district's highly qualified requirements by EITHER:
- Passing the MN Board Highly Qualified Para Exam (submit proof of passing the MN Para Educator Exam)
- OR completion of at least 60 college credits (official transcripts required; a degree or diploma is not sufficient)
- Prior paraprofessional experience in a school setting is preferred
- Comfortable assisting students, including with toileting and personal care needs
- Able to adapt quickly and work collaboratively within different school teams
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
- Providing support to high school students under the direction of licensed staff
- Assisting with classroom activities, one-on-one or small group work, and managing daily routines
- Supporting students with varying needs, including personal care when necessary
- Contributing to a positive, inclusive learning environment
- Communicating effectively with teachers, staff, and students to support educational goals

- Steady weekday schedule: Monday through Friday, 32.5 hours per week
