Step into a meaningful contract role supporting secondary students during the Extended School Year program in a vibrant educational setting near Andover, MN. This position runs from July 6 through July 23, with a Monday through Thursday schedule from 7:30am to 1:00pm, including a 30-minute lunch breakoffering a total of 20 hours per week.

In this role, you'll have the opportunity to make a direct impact, working one-on-one with students or providing valuable assistance within a classroom environment. This hands-on support is vital to ensuring all learners receive the guidance and motivation they need to succeed during the summer session.

Qualifications:

• Para Test Certification
• OR proof of at least two years of post-secondary coursework (60 semester credits or 90 quarter credits) from an accredited institution
• OR proof of a completed college degree
• Experience supporting students, preferably in a school setting, is highly valued
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative attitude

Responsibilities:

• Foster a supportive and inclusive environment for secondary students
• Provide individualized or small group assistance as assigned by classroom teachers
• Assist with daily activities, academic tasks, and classroom management
• Ensure student safety and engagement throughout the program
• Support the implementation of individual education plans and instructional strategies
