Job Description

Youll enjoy a structured weekly schedule, working onsite 35 hours a week with school-aged students or 29 hours a week for early intervention programs. This hands-on role is ideal for those passionate about assisting in classroom routines, offering academic or behavioral support, and championing student success in partnership with teachers.

Key Qualifications:

  • Fulfillment of at least one of Pennsylvanias paraprofessional qualification requirements (details provided during interview process)
  • Effective communication and relationship-building skills with students and staff
  • Ability to adapt in a dynamic classroom environment
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality
  • Prior experience in a school setting (preferred but not required)

Role Responsibilities:

  • Provide instructional and behavioral support to individual students or small groups, as directed by classroom teachers
  • Assist with classroom management and organization
  • Foster a safe and welcoming learning environment
  • Contribute to individualized education plans (IEPs), when applicable
  • Support teachers with classroom preparations and documentation
  • Participate in relevant training sessions and team meetings
