This contract opportunity spans from August 10, 2026, through June 11, 2027, aligning with the school calendar and providing the chance to make an impact each day. Whether youre guiding early intervention needs or school-age learners, your commitment will help students achieve their educational goals.
Youll enjoy a structured weekly schedule, working onsite 35 hours a week with school-aged students or 29 hours a week for early intervention programs. This hands-on role is ideal for those passionate about assisting in classroom routines, offering academic or behavioral support, and championing student success in partnership with teachers.
Key Qualifications:
- Fulfillment of at least one of Pennsylvanias paraprofessional qualification requirements (details provided during interview process)
- Effective communication and relationship-building skills with students and staff
- Ability to adapt in a dynamic classroom environment
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Prior experience in a school setting (preferred but not required)
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide instructional and behavioral support to individual students or small groups, as directed by classroom teachers
- Assist with classroom management and organization
- Foster a safe and welcoming learning environment
- Contribute to individualized education plans (IEPs), when applicable
- Support teachers with classroom preparations and documentation
- Participate in relevant training sessions and team meetings
