Step into the role of a contract pediatric occupational therapist and make a meaningful difference for students in the Zionsville, IN area. This onsite position is designed for a dedicated OT ready to work 20 hours per week, supporting a caseload of preschool and elementary students. You'll have the chance to create positive, lasting impacts by providing tailored interventions and collaborating with educational teams.
Key Qualifications:
- Active MA Occupational Therapy License required
- Background or experience with school-based pediatric OT services
- Familiarity with IEPs and special education environments preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and address the developmental, sensory, and motor needs of preschool and elementary students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in alignment with IEP goals
- Collaborate regularly with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records per school guidelines
- Provide consultative support and recommendations for classroom adaptations
