This role is based near Yuba City, CA, with three full-time positions available, each offering a chance to positively impact students across diverse grades and abilities. Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Occupational Therapist license in California
  • Experience or interest in working with K-12 student populations
  • Knowledge of pediatric and school-based OT best practices
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills with educators, families, and team members
  • Adaptability and a willingness to thrive in a dynamic educational setting
  • Open to local candidates and professionals open to travel assignments

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver onsite occupational therapy services to students from kindergarten through 12th grade
  • Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
  • Support students in achieving their academic and functional goals within the classroom environment
  • Communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and school staff to foster a collaborative approach to student care
  • Maintain accurate documentation and participate in IEP meetings
  • Manage a diverse caseload and adjust interventions as needed throughout the school year
