What Were Seeking:

• Current Virginia Occupational Therapist license required
• Experience in a school-based OT setting strongly preferred
• Knowledge of therapeutic intervention strategies for diverse student populations, including those with IEPs
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and multidisciplinary team members
• Ability to adapt and prioritize in a dynamic school environment
• PreK-12 experience is a plus

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services for students across multiple schools, addressing fine motor skills, sensory processing, and adaptive functioning
• Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans based on student needs and individualized goals
• Participate in the IEP process, providing input and collaborating with educators and support staff
• Track progress, document outcomes, and adjust interventions as needed for optimal student growth
• Educate school personnel and families in strategies to support student participation and success
