Qualifications and Experience:

• Active license as an Occupational Therapist in the state, or eligibility to obtain one
• Previous experience in an educational setting strongly preferred
• Comfortable working with K-12 students, across elementary, middle, and high school age groups
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to collaborate with educators and families
• Strong problem-solving abilities and creativity in supporting student needs
• Organized and able to manage documentation and caseload efficiently

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess students to determine their needs for occupational therapy as part of the educational environment
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in collaboration with educational teams
• Provide both direct and consultative services, working closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals
• Assist students in building skills for classroom participation and daily living
• Track progress, complete required documentation, and participate in IEP meetings as needed
• Adapt interventions as students needs change throughout the school year
