Job Description

Qualifications & Experience Desired:

  • Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Current state licensure (or eligibility for licensure)
  • Previous experience in a school setting is highly valued
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with staff, students, and families
  • Ability to adapt interventions for diverse student populations and educational needs
  • Proficiency with IEP documentation and goal-setting

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess students functional abilities and identify barriers to learning and participation
  • Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy plans in coordination with IEP teams
  • Deliver direct and consultative OT services to students, both 1:1 and in group settings
  • Maintain accurate records of assessments, progress notes, and interventions
  • Engage families and teachers in therapy goals, strategies, and accommodations
  • Contribute expertise to the development of educational and classroom modifications
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to student success strategies
