Located near Wyandotte, MI, this full-time position is ideal for a creative and caring Occupational Therapist passionate about advancing student independence and participation. Youll collaborate with a supportive OT team while serving a diverse K12 caseload, primarily working with students with cognitive impairments.

Key Qualifications:

• Active and current Occupational Therapist license (OT) in Michigan
• School-based OT experience preferred, especially in supporting K12 students
• Strong commitment to inclusive, student-centered practices
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and staff
• Flexibility to adapt interventions based on individualized education plans
• Must be able to work onsite full-time (35 hours/week) at one dedicated program location

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and deliver individualized OT interventions to enhance student skills and participation
• Collaborate closely with additional on-site OTs for integrated support and professional growth
• Document progress, prepare reports, and contribute to IEP meetings as an essential team member
• Engage proactively with teachers, support staff, and families to ensure seamless service delivery
• Support students functional independence in classroom and school routines using evidence-based approaches
