Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Active Illinois Occupational Therapist license (required)
  • Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to deliver services fully on-site

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
  • Deliver evidence-based occupational therapy interventions aimed at improving students academic participation and daily living skills
  • Document progress, maintain compliance with state and district standards, and participate in IEP meetings
  • Collaborate closely with educators, families, and other support staff to ensure integrated support for each student
  • Adapt and modify the learning environment to promote accessibility and student independence
