Qualifications & Experience:

  • Current and active Illinois Occupational Therapist license
  • School-based or pediatric OT experience is preferred but not required
  • Skilled in assessment, intervention, and documentation within a school or healthcare environment
  • Comfortable working on-site and collaborating closely with teachers, administrators, and related service staff
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork abilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy services to K-12 students based on individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Conduct evaluations, develop treatment goals, and monitor student progress
  • Support classroom staff by modeling strategies and providing resources to support students needs
  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to meetings for IEP development and review
  • Foster positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues to encourage optimal learning
