Key Qualifications:
- Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist
- Experience in school-based settings, with comprehensive knowledge of assessment, evaluation, and therapy practices for K-12 students
- Ability to manage caseloads and adapt interventions to diverse student needs
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration with educators, families, and team members
- Strong understanding of compliance, documentation, and IEP processes
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments and provide detailed evaluations to identify students unique occupational therapy needs
- Deliver individualized or small group therapy to support students development within classroom and school environments
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and related service providers to create actionable intervention plans aligned with IEP goals
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation and participate in meetings to share progress updates and recommendations
- Serve as a resource and advocate for occupational therapy services within the school community
