Job Description

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Current Oregon Occupational Therapist license is required
  • Previous experience working with pediatric populations or school-aged students strongly preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Commitment to evidence-based practice in a school-based setting
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and support staff

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct OT services to elementary-aged students in accordance with IEP goals and objectives
  • Assess, plan, and implement individualized therapy strategies focused on motor skills, daily living activities, sensory integration, and adaptive equipment use
  • Monitor student progress and document outcomes for school records and parent communications
  • Consult with educators and parents to ensure that therapy goals are integrated across classroom and home environments
  • Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate in multidisciplinary teams for holistic student support
