Part-Time Occupational Therapist Opportunity in Winnetka, Illinois

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) for a part-time, school-based position in Winnetka, Illinois for the 20262027 school year. This opportunity offers a flexible schedule working with Early Childhood students while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to help young learners develop the skills they need for success in the classroom.

Job Details

• Position: Occupational Therapist (OT)
• Location: Winnetka, IL
• Schedule: Part-Time
• FTE: 0.4 or 0.6 FTE (2 or 3 days per week)
• School Year: 20262027
• Student Population: Early Childhood

Responsibilities

• Provide school-based occupational therapy evaluations and direct therapy services
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy goals as part of students' IEPs
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, administrators, and families
• Recommend adaptive equipment and classroom accommodations to support student success
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with district and state guidelines
• Travel between school sites within the district as needed

Qualifications

Required:

• Current certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)
• Active Illinois Occupational Therapist licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
• Ability to travel throughout the school district

Preferred:

• Previous Early Childhood experience
• School-based occupational therapy experience
• Experience working with students receiving special education services
