Make an immediate impact as an Occupational Therapist in a contract role serving K-12 students. This position provides essential leave coverage in a supportive, school-based environment near Athens, GA, with a manageable scheduleworking 30 hours over 4 days each week. Youll collaborate with educators and families to promote student success and independence in both academic and social settings.
Qualifications:
- Valid Georgia Occupational Therapist license required
- Previous school-based OT experience preferred
- Expertise in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload spanning K-12 ages
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments to identify student needs and therapy goals
- Develop, document, and implement individualized intervention plans
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support academic and functional progress
- Provide direct therapy for students, adjusting methods as needed to ensure effective outcomes
- Maintain up-to-date and compliant documentation on student progress
- Support student transitions across grade levels and programs
