Youll be addressing a range of needs across the district, seeing a variety of age groups and abilities from kindergarten through high school. Your commitment will extend through the remainder of the current school year as well as the 2026/2027 academic year, providing stability and the chance to form lasting connections with students and staff.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapy license in the state (or eligibility to obtain)
- Previous experience in school-based settings is highly valued
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with multidisciplinary teams, families, and students
- Understanding of K-12 developmental stages and common school-based therapy interventions
- Flexibility to travel between multiple locations within the district
- Commitment to meeting students Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and contributing to success plans
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative OT services for students in accordance with IEPs
- Develop and implement interventions to address sensory, fine motor, and life skills
- Document progress diligently and participate in IEP meetings as needed
- Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to optimize student outcomes
- Adapt and create educational materials for accessibility within the classroom environment
