Job Description

Step into a fulfilling full-time opportunity as a school-based Occupational Therapist, working with students and staff to promote academic and functional success. This is a contract assignment scheduled for 37.5 hours per week, beginning on 08/25/2026 and concluding on 11/13/2026. Youll collaborate closely with educators, families, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized therapy programs, supporting students participation and independence in academic and daily activities.

Qualifications:

  • Current and valid Occupational Therapist license in Delaware
  • Previous experience providing occupational therapy services within a school setting is highly desirable
  • Solid knowledge of school-based evaluation tools, intervention strategies, and progress monitoring
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaborative skills
  • Ability to adapt to diverse caseloads and effectively manage time and documentation

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to identify students needs within the educational environment
  • Develop and deliver individualized treatment plans, including both one-on-one and group sessions
  • Participate in IEP meetings, contributing expertise to goal setting and planning
  • Document progress, maintain records, and communicate findings and recommendations with staff and families
  • Consult with teachers and school staff to integrate supports within classroom routines
