Job Description

This contract role is ideal for professionals with a strong background in pediatric and elementary caseloads, ready to work fully onsite and contribute their expertise to multiple school communities.

What you bring:

  • Valid and active Delaware Occupational Therapy license (required)
  • Previous experience in a school-based OT role
  • Solid background working with pediatric or elementary caseloads
  • Capacity to commit to a full-time schedule, onsite only
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Reliable transportation for daily onsite presence

What youll do:

  • Deliver individualized and group occupational therapy services to students, supporting their educational and functional needs
  • Assess student abilities and develop plans to enhance participation within the school environment
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, special educators, and related service providers
  • Track progress and maintain thorough documentation in compliance with legal and organizational standards
  • Participate in IEP meetings, contributing to student-centered educational planning
  • Adapt interventions to ensure student success within varied classroom settings

This is a full-time position (37.5 hours per week) with the assignment running from August 24, 2026, to June 14, 2027. Scheduling details and specific caseloads will be determined prior to placement.
