Job Description

Make a meaningful difference in the lives of students by providing essential occupational therapy services across a diverse school district, supporting learners from preschool through young adult transition programs. This contract opportunity runs from August 2026 through June 2027, offering a part-time schedule of 2-3 school days per weekspecifically Tuesdays, Thursdays, and one additional weekday to be arrangedto help meet the districts needs.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Occupational Therapist license and credentials for school-based OT practice
  • Demonstrated experience delivering occupational therapy services in a school setting
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with students, staff, and families
  • Comfort with providing support across all grade levels, including early intervention and transition-age students
  • Flexibility, adaptability, and organizational skills to efficiently manage a varied student caseload

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy assessments, develop individualized plans, and provide direct intervention for students with a variety of needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education teams, and related service professionals to support student learning and participation
  • Document progress, maintain compliant records, and contribute to IEPs as required
  • Provide consultative support to classroom staff to ensure carryover of therapy strategies and adaptations in academic settings
  • Travel between school sites within the district as assigned; mileage reimbursement details to be provided
