Desired Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid Occupational Therapist license in the state of Kansas, or eligibility to obtain
  • Graduation from an accredited Occupational Therapy program
  • Recent experience delivering occupational therapy services in schools (preferred)
  • Ability to conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and document progress
  • Strong communication skills with students, educators, and families
  • Team-oriented approach, flexibility, and a positive attitude
  • Familiarity with relevant documentation systems and assistive technology

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students fine motor, sensory, and functional needs
  • Develop, implement, and adapt individualized occupational therapy interventions in accordance with IEP/504 goals
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and families to integrate therapy strategies into daily routines
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal development
  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation of therapy services and student progress
  • Serve as a resource for staff regarding adaptive equipment and modifications
  • Support a safe, inclusive, and engaging school environment for all students
