A contract Occupational Therapist position is available in White Rock, NM, serving the Ohkay Owing Schools district. This role involves supporting students from kindergarten through 12th grade with occupational therapy services in a very part-time capacity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy services to students across multiple school locations within the district.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Maintain accurate documentation and participate in team meetings as required.
- Deliver services primarily through an itinerant model, with paid travel between sites.
- Utilize the districts IEP system with training provided to ensure compliance and effective service delivery.
Qualifications:
- Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) eligible to practice in New Mexico.
- Experience working in school settings preferred.
- Ability to work 3 hours per week with flexible scheduling.
- Strong communication skills to coordinate with school staff, students, and families.
- Comfortable working with a caseload spanning K-12 students.
Location:
- White Rock, NM, with service across the Ohkay Owing Schools district. Travel between schools is required.
