Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Valid Occupational Therapist license for the state of Illinois (IL OT license required)
  • Previous experience as an OT in a school setting preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with educators, families, and other support staff
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive classroom environment

Role Focus & Responsibilities:

  • Provide targeted Occupational Therapy services tailored to individual IEP goals
  • Assess students needs, develop intervention plans, and monitor progress
  • Conduct evaluations and document findings to support educational outcomes
  • Educate staff and families on adaptive strategies and interventions
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to promote student wellbeing and classroom success
