Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license for the state of Illinois (IL OT license required)
- Previous experience as an OT in a school setting preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with educators, families, and other support staff
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive classroom environment
Role Focus & Responsibilities:
- Provide targeted Occupational Therapy services tailored to individual IEP goals
- Assess students needs, develop intervention plans, and monitor progress
- Conduct evaluations and document findings to support educational outcomes
- Educate staff and families on adaptive strategies and interventions
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to promote student wellbeing and classroom success
