Key Qualifications:
- Valid and active Occupational Therapist license
- Graduation from an accredited Occupational Therapy program
- Experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and other specialists
- Organized, adaptable, and committed to best practices in therapy
Main Responsibilities:
- Assess students functional abilities and develop individualized treatment plans
- Deliver direct occupational therapy services to students as outlined in IEPs
- Document and track student progress, maintaining accurate and timely records
- Participate in IEP meetings, contributing professional insight and recommendations
- Collaborate with teaching staff to implement interventions in classroom environments
- Educate families and caregivers about strategies that support students at home and school
- Stay current with latest developments in pediatric occupational therapy
