Key Qualifications:

• Valid and active Occupational Therapist license
• Graduation from an accredited Occupational Therapy program
• Experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and other specialists
• Organized, adaptable, and committed to best practices in therapy

Main Responsibilities:

• Assess students functional abilities and develop individualized treatment plans
• Deliver direct occupational therapy services to students as outlined in IEPs
• Document and track student progress, maintaining accurate and timely records
• Participate in IEP meetings, contributing professional insight and recommendations
• Collaborate with teaching staff to implement interventions in classroom environments
• Educate families and caregivers about strategies that support students at home and school
• Stay current with latest developments in pediatric occupational therapy
