Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid Occupational Therapist license in California
  • Experience working with school-aged children, especially in adaptive or learning support settings
  • Strong communication skills for collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Proficiency in creating and adapting intervention plans tailored to individual student needs
  • Familiarity with IEPs, progress documentation, and evidence-based therapeutic approaches

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assess students functional abilities related to fine motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living tasks
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to enhance academic achievement and independence
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and parents to support student inclusion and targeted interventions
  • Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings as required
  • Provide consultation and guidance to staff on accommodations, classroom strategies, and equipment use
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current on practices and resources
