Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Occupational Therapist license in South Carolina
- SC Educator Certification is required
- Experience in school settings (K-12) preferred
- Proficiency with conducting comprehensive OT student assessments
- Comfort providing direct therapy as well as collaborating in multidisciplinary teams
- Familiarity with Home Health, Healthcare, and Teletherapy occupational therapy practices is a plus
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct individualized assessments to determine students needs and strengths
- Develop and implement measurable, student-centered goals
- Participate in and lead IEP meetings, contributing expertise and advocacy
- Deliver direct therapy services engaging students in meaningful, functional activities
- Complete timely documentation and detailed progress reports
This position requires a commitment of 37.5 hours per week in an onsite-only setting, working alongside passionate educators and specialists. The contract runs the duration of the 2026-2027 school year, offering valuable experience in a supportive school community.
