Step into a rewarding role as an Occupational Therapist supporting students from PreK through 8th grade. This full-time, onsite contract position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact working directly with children and adolescents, encouraging their growth and development in a school setting.
As a valued school-based OT, you will collaborate with educators and other professionals to create supportive and accessible learning environments. You will assess students needs, develop individualized treatment plans, and implement therapy sessions designed to foster independence and participation in educational activities.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license for the state of Arizona
- Current IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Previous experience with school-based or pediatric caseloads preferred
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills
- Flexible, positive attitude and commitment to student progress
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and provide direct therapy services for students in PreK-8th grade
- Design and implement Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals and interventions
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams for holistic student support
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with district and legal requirements
- Serve as a resource for faculty and families on best practices in occupational therapy for school settings
