Job Description
A full-time Occupational Therapist opportunity is available in Lake City, FL, serving K-12 students in a school setting. This contract position runs from August 5, 2026, through May 27, 2027, offering 35 hours per week of dedicated work supporting student development and functional performance.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing occupational therapy evaluations, interventions, and progress monitoring for students across all grade levels (K-12).
- Collaborating with educators, parents, and other specialists to develop individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Implementing therapeutic techniques that support fine motor skills, sensory processing, and other functional abilities within the school environment.
- Maintaining accurate documentation and complying with all state and federal regulations.
- Participating in team meetings and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Valid Florida Occupational Therapist License required.
- Experience working as an OT in school settings is highly preferred.
- Strong communication skills and ability to engage with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
