- Active state license to practice Occupational Therapy, or eligibility to obtain
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting strongly preferred
- Ability to develop and implement IEPs and collaborate within multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills
- Adaptability and creative problem-solving to meet the diverse needs of students
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students strengths and needs related to fine motor skills, sensory processing, and activities of daily living
- Develop and carry out individualized treatment plans targeting each students educational goals
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, parents, and related service providers to integrate strategies within classroom routines
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing clear recommendations and progress updates
- Maintain thorough records, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and district requirements
- Promote a positive, inclusive atmosphere that fosters student engagement and growth
