Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity as an Occupational Therapist providing essential support in a dynamic K-12 school setting near Waukegan, IL. This role focuses on enhancing students' educational experiences through expert therapeutic interventions. The position is part-time, covering Extended School Year (ESY) services from June 15th to July 17th.

As an integral partner on the educational team, youll deliver tailored occupational therapy services, empowering students of varying abilities to reach their fullest potential.

Desired Qualifications:

• Active Illinois Occupational Therapist (OT) license
• Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric therapy setting preferred
• Ability to effectively collaborate with students, educators, and families
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Commitment to fostering student growth in K-12 populations

Responsibilities Include:

• Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized treatment plans aligned with students IEPs
• Deliver direct and consultative OT services in accordance with school schedules and student needs
• Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings where necessary
• Work in concert with educational staff to support students functional skills and classroom participation
• Engage in consultation with teachers and families to facilitate student success
