Job Description

This contract position offers full and part-time opportunities, with flexible schedules up to 40 hours per week, serving elementary, middle, and high school students. Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current, valid Occupational Therapist license in the state of Michigan.
  • Experience or strong interest in working with children and adolescents in school environments.
  • Ability to serve students at multiple grade levels: elementary, middle, and high school.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and organization skills.
  • Flexibility, adaptability, and passion for supporting diverse learners.
  • Knowledge of IEP processes and special education best practices preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and create individualized treatment plans for students.
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support each childs goals.
  • Provide direct, group, and consultative OT services within classroom and therapy settings.
  • Maintain accurate records and progress monitoring as required by the school.
  • Participate in IEP meetings, team planning sessions, and professional development as needed.
  • Support students functional abilities to promote independence, participation, and well-being.
