Job Description
A full-time Occupational Therapist position is available in an elementary school setting serving students from Pre-K through 5th grade. This in-person role, located in Waterford, MI, provides an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional to support young learners in their developmental and functional growth. The assignment is for the remainder of the 2025/2026 school year, with work hours from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy services to students in Pre-K through 5th grade
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to support student needs
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to enhance student outcomes
- Assess student progress and adjust interventions as necessary
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with licensing and school policies
Qualifications and Experience:
- Michigan Occupational Therapy License (required)
- Experience working with elementary-aged children, particularly Pre-K to 5th grade
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work full-time during regular school hours
- Previous school-based occupational therapy experience is preferred
Location: Waterford, Michigan
Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM 3:00 PM
Contract Duration: Remainder of the 2025/2026 school year
