Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

  • Valid Occupational Therapy license for the state of Alaska
  • TYPE C Certification (required)
  • AK-Certified highly preferred
  • Experience in school-based therapy preferred, but open to those eager to gain experience in this setting
  • Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 1000 minutes of direct student services per week
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills with students, teachers, and families
  • Flexibility and adaptability working in dynamic educational environments

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver evidence-based occupational therapy services to students in an in-person setting
  • Work closely with educators and support staff to develop and implement individualized intervention plans
  • Monitor student progress, update documentation, and adjust interventions as needed
  • Participate in IEP meetings, assessments, and team consultations
  • Foster a supportive, inclusive environment for students of diverse backgrounds and abilities
  • Commit to serving the full school term through May 21, 2027
