Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students in need of occupational therapy services in a vibrant school community near Wasilla, AK. This is an onsite role beginning in the upcoming school year and extending through May 2027, providing you with the chance to make a lasting impact on young learners.

As a dedicated OT in this setting, youll work collaboratively with educators and families, addressing a caseload designed for meaningful, in-person engagementapproximately 1,000 minutes of student contact per week (about 16 hours), within a full-time 37.5-hour workweek.

Desired Qualifications:

• Active Alaska OT licensure required
• TYPE C School Certification required
• School-based OT experience preferred
• AK certification preferred
• Ability to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary school teams
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Passion for helping children meet their educational and developmental goals

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and develop targeted intervention plans
• Deliver direct therapy services in an in-person format (no virtual/VOCO)
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation as outlined by school district policies
• Participate in IEP meetings, providing recommendations tailored to each students needs
• Communicate with teachers, parents, and related professionals to ensure continuity of care
• Travel between school sites within the district as needed
