This travel position offers the opportunity to provide Occupational Therapy services in a school setting located in Warwick, Rhode Island. The role involves working with students to develop and enhance their functional abilities, supporting their educational needs through targeted therapeutic interventions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess students functional abilities and develop individualized treatment plans
- Implement therapeutic activities to improve motor skills, coordination, and daily living skills
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to support each student's educational goals
- Document progress and maintain accurate records of therapy sessions
- Adapt interventions to meet the diverse needs of students in a school environment
Desired Qualifications:
- Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) with a degree from an accredited program
- Experience working in pediatric or school-based therapy settings preferred
- Ability to conduct thorough assessments and design effective treatment plans
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with educators and families
