Support students in reaching their fullest potential as a contract school occupational therapist in the Pontiac, MI area. Youll collaborate with educators, families, and school staff to promote independence and participation for students from kindergarten through age 26. This full-time opportunity offers meaningful impact in the school setting while ensuring you have the resources and support you need.

What You Bring:

• Current, valid Michigan occupational therapy license
• Previous experience in pediatric or school-based occupational therapy (preferred)
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage a varied caseload
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Dedication to fostering growth and inclusion for diverse learners

Your Focus:

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations for students requiring occupational therapy services
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to support IEP goals and academic achievement
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teamsincluding teachers, speech and physical therapists, and families
• Deliver therapy sessions addressing fine motor, sensory integration, daily living skills, and adaptive strategies
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
• Educate staff and caregivers on techniques and accommodations to enhance student participation
• Serve a caseload of K-26 students, making a positive difference each day
