This contract opportunity is ideal for an experienced School Occupational Therapist seeking a flexible schedule, variety in service delivery (including potential for on-site, home health, healthcare, or teletherapy environments), and the chance to help young learners develop critical life skills.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to students in grades K5, supporting their educational goals and individual IEPs.
- Utilize expertise in school-based, home health, teletherapy, and healthcare OT settings as needed.
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to ensure coordinated care and maximize student success.
- Monitor student progress, adjust interventions, and maintain thorough documentation.
- Engage in regular communication with stakeholders to provide updates and recommendations.
Qualifications:
- Active Michigan OT license required.
- Proven experience in schools, home health, healthcare, or teletherapy highly valued.
- Strong understanding of IEP process and ability to individualize therapy plans.
- Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork skills.
- Passion for fostering development and academic achievement in elementary-aged students.

- Contract position near Warren, MI
- 22 hours per week across 23 days
- Work with K5 student population
