Desired Skills & Qualifications:
- Current and active Michigan OT license required
- Experience in school-based occupational therapy preferred
- Familiarity with IEPs, progress monitoring, and documentation
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills
- Compassionate and student-focused approach
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy services to K-12 students across a diverse caseload
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Support students in enhancing fine motor, sensory processing, and adaptive skills within the educational environment
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to goal development
- Deliver direct therapy, consultation, and staff training as needed
- Maintain thorough documentation of student progress and service delivery
- Collaborate with faculty and families to ensure consistent support
