Job Description

Seeking a passionate occupational therapy professional to provide essential support to students in a collaborative and rewarding school environment near Warren, MI. This part-time contract opportunity focuses on delivering care within a single school, working with a diverse K8 caseload. Key Qualifications:

  • Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license in Michigan (MI OT)
  • Experience or interest in school-based OT, particularly with K8 populations
  • Strong communication skills for collaborating with educational teams, students, and families
  • Ability to design creative interventions for a range of disabilities and developmental needs
  • Dedicated to onsite work; remote or VOCO placements are not accepted for this role
  • Previous panel interview experience is a plus

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized and group occupational therapy services in accordance with student IEPs
  • Collaborate with teachers and specialists to develop holistic plans for student growth
  • Maintain thorough documentation and report on student progress addressing various disabilities
  • Support a welcoming and empowering environment for children with unique needs
  • Consult with school staff and caregivers to provide resources and strategies to aid student success
