An exciting contract opportunity is available for a school-based Occupational Therapist to provide essential services in a supportive educational environment. This role begins ASAP and continues through the end of the current school year, offering a chance to make a meaningful impact on students' growth and independence.

Primary Qualifications:

• Current and valid Occupational Therapist licensure
• Experience working in K-12 school settings preferred
• Understanding of IEP processes and documentation
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with educators, parents, and staff
• Ability to adapt therapy approaches to diverse student needs
• Organizational skills for scheduling and maintaining detailed records

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy to students as outlined in their IEPs
• Develop, implement, and document individualized treatment plans and intervention strategies
• Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and administrative personnel
• Assess students functional abilities using standardized assessment tools
• Participate in IEP meetings, sharing expert recommendations for student progress and goal setting
• Maintain progress notes and required reports according to school and district guidelines
• Contribute to a positive, achievement-focused learning environment
