Required Qualifications:

• Active state licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT)
• Previous experience working with children or in a school setting strongly preferred
• Knowledge of IEP processes and documentation standards
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and other professionals
• Organizational skills to manage caseloads and meet deadlines
• Adaptability and creativity in developing interventions for diverse student needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and evaluate students functional skills and needs in the school setting
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal planning
• Provide direct occupational therapy services to students, individually or in small groups
• Monitor and document student progress, updating goals and plans as needed
• Collaborate with educators and families to support carryover of therapy strategies
• Offer training and resources for staff as needed to facilitate student participation within the classroom
• Maintain accurate records in compliance with state and federal regulations
