Embark on a rewarding opportunity supporting elementary students as a school-based Occupational Therapist in the Hopewell Junction, NY area. This is a contract position with a flexible, part-time schedule running from your earliest availability through June 2027. Key Qualifications:

• Current New York Occupational Therapy (OT) license required
• Possession of TSSLD credentials
• Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
• Strong communication skills, both with students and team members
• Ability to work independently and coordinate with educators and families

Position Details:

• Service provided at a single elementary school site
• Approximately 7 hours weekly, with sessions for 2 students (seven 30-minute sessions total each week)
• Collaborate with a dedicated interdisciplinary team focused on student growth
• Participate in Zoom panel-style interviews for a streamlined hiring process

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and implement evidence-based OT interventions
• Monitor progress and maintain accurate documentation of student goals and outcomes
• Communicate effectively with school staff, parents, and other service providers to support student success
• Contribute to IEP development and participate in meetings as needed
• Adapt and adjust therapy strategies to accommodate each childs evolving needs
